Spent a lazy afternoon visiting a jewellery sale preview at Sothebys in Bond Street (as you do!) and even tried on a couple of rings. Luckily they were far too small :-) To compensate we had tea and cakes at Laduree in the Burlington Arcade just 5 minutes up the street and I just had to have one of these boxes! It is called the Pompadour box. I asked the assistant to put the macarons in a separate bag so I could keep the box clean for other things - like a needlework project :-)
